Matt and Amy got married this past Saturday! I don’t do a lot of weddings anymore, but these two are special. I met them at Amy’s sister Kellie’s wedding two years ago and I just loved everyone in the family! They were so kind and sweet and fun to be around, that I agreed whole-heartedly to take on their wedding. I’m glad I did, too! There were sparklers, an antique Rolls Royce, a First Look, a very old log cabin and so so many tearful moments. Please help me by congratulating Amy and Matt below!!
Before you do though, enjoy these highlights…
Getting ready pictures are among my favorite. It’s the excitement of the anticipation that just gets me!
The location and all the details were immaculate. So beautiful.
Amy and Matt ‘s first look was so touching because it was where Matt proposed to Amy.
The log cabin was a perfect background for the bride and groom pictures.
We went down to Matt’s parents farm for wedding party pictures, and it was perfect because it was less than a mile from the church.
The ceremony was inside a charming little church, and was so personal and filled with great stories.
After that spectacular wedding we headed over to The Capitol Theatre, and it was an incredible place for a reception. Check out these details!
When the wedding party arrived, they had a totally fitting shadow entrance. It was so cool!
I did NOT think they would smash the cake, but they did! So funny.
And these are some of the best expressions of the evening!
Then they danced into the night…
And finished with an incredibly cool exit!
Thank you so much Amy and Matt for making me a part of your day, I enjoyed it so much and you two are really wonderful people.
