Nursing is a beautiful thing. Those moments between mother and child are so perfect and natural, and it’s a time a mother never forgets. It’s the essence of trust and love, and capturing it is a privilege. Thanks to mommy and baby for letting me in to this precious time, and allowing me to photograph this intense connection. We set this one up simply, near a window in her home, and just captured it naturally.

I love the smell of newborns, and the way baby feet and baby hands curl up naturally on their own.
The image from mom’s point of view is precious! I tried to capture the raw emotions and the moments that will stand out in mom’s mind.
This is my favorite image. She is so secure in her mother’s love, and her eyes show that love.
